Danielle Reynolds is a senior research and data associate with Data Analytics and Applied Research at the Center for Court Innovation. She performs on-site research and data analysis for Manhattan Justice Opportunities (MJO). Before joining the Center, she was a senior research analyst at the John F. Finn Institute for Public Safety. There, she conducted qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods research in partnership with police departments. Research included evaluation of implicit bias awareness training, analysis of police performance during encounters with citizens and investigating trends in police stops. Earlier in her career, Danielle was an investigator with the Attorney General’s Office, investigating cases of physical and sexual abuse and neglect. Danielle holds a B.A. in Political Science from Binghamton University, an M.A. in Criminal Justice from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and a PhD in Criminal Justice from University of Albany. Her dissertation qualitatively examined how police supervision may impact officers’ discretionary decision-making on the street.
