We break cycles of harm and violence by fostering healing from trauma and addressing community needs.
Where there is crime
We develop alternative responses led by trusted members of the community and people with firsthand experience, preventing violence through education, compassionate forms of accountability, and connections to services that address people’s underlying needs. Where harm has already occurred, we respond by uplifting survivors and those most impacted while creating opportunities for healing and repair.
Gun violence and intimate partner violence are deeply interconnected nationwide crises, yet over-reliance on law enforcement and incarceration to address them has too often created more harm for the communities most impacted.
