Jessica Bruno-Matlak

Case Manager, Brooklyn Justice Initiatives

Jessica Bruno-Matlak is a case manager for Brooklyn Justice Initiatives and was formally the senior crime victim specialist for The Red Hook Community Justice Center’s Counseling and Restorative Services program. Prior to joining the Center, Mrs. Bruno-Matlak worked with New York City’s Family Court Mediation program, the New York Center for Interpersonal Development’s Supervised Visitation Program, the Puerto Rican Family Institute, and Safe Horizon. She received her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from John Jay College with a minor in Sociology and a certificate in Dispute Resolution. Currently, she is pursuing her MSW at Fordham University. Mrs. Bruno-Matlak has received recognition from the Mayor’s office of New York for her work on behalf of survivors of domestic violence and is a certified Spanish-language interpreter for survivors of domestic violence and crime.
