We work to reduce the number of people held in jail because they cannot afford bail.
The Supervised Release program, which we operate in Brooklyn and on Staten Island, is an alternative to pretrial incarceration and bail that ensures people make their court appearances while getting access to community-based services and resources. Participants have regular check-ins with dedicated case managers, who provide support and make connections to services that assist participants in maintaining employment, housing, and family ties.
