On Giving Tuesday You're Invited: Discuss the Future of Community Safety
Join us for a special Giving Tuesday event!
Rethinking Research: Exploring the True Meaning of Community Safety
This Giving Tuesday, the Center for Court Innovation is celebrating giving, partnership, and a shared commitment to making our world a better place. Join us for a special event on the future of community safety, why it’s important to our holistic approach to justice, and how we can achieve it.
Community safety is multidimensional. It’s freedom from violence, access to affordable housing and green spaces, well-paying work and strong community connections, and more. Yet research and evaluation often focus only on criminal legal system data, missing the true impact of work to build a deeper and more resilient form of safety.
What counts as “evidence” and how do we measure “success”?
