Keeping Our Community Safe
We are taking all necessary precautions to safeguard the health of our staff and clients—and do all we can to support the communities we serve.
At this moment when the world feels like it's turning upside down, we wanted to let you know that the Center for Court Innovation continues to be open for business, even as we take all necessary precautions to safeguard the health of our staff and clients—and do all we can to support the communities we serve.
We have established a committee that is monitoring health advisories and ensuring that we follow best practices. This includes extra cleanings of our work and client spaces; making provisions for staff to work at home whenever possible; ensuring that staff who feel unwell stay home; implementing remote check-ins with clients; changing program hours as needed on a temporary basis; and providing our staff with scripts and other supports to ensure that their contacts with clients and community members prioritize health.
The Center performs crucial functions, including diverting people from the justice system, aiding victims, preventing gun violence, and making communities stronger. We remain committed to continuing this critical work, even in a crisis.
As always, thank you for your interest and support. We wish you all the best at this challenging moment.
