Adam Mansky

Adam Mansky was the director of criminal justice for the Center for Court Innovation. He originally joined the Center to plan the path-breaking Red Hook Community Justice Center, and then served as Red Hook's first project director. Since then, Adam has helped create and now supervises many of the Center’s cutting-edge criminal justice programs throughout the New York-area, including Red Hook, Midtown Community Court, Brooklyn Justice Initiatives, Bronx Community Solutions, the Staten Island Justice Center, and Newark Community Solutions. Adam has also helped develop and leads a number of other high-profile programs, including Project Reset early diversion; supervised release as an alternative to bail in Brooklyn, Bronx, and Staten Island; and the Brooklyn Young Adult Court. Before joining the Center for Court Innovation, Adam practiced corporate law and litigation in New York City, and received a B.A., with distinction, from the University of Michigan and a J.D., cum laude, from New York University School of Law. Adam also serves on the board of Transportation Alternatives, a New York non-profit and advocacy organization dedicated to improving and increasing pedestrian safety, urban bicycling, and public space.
