Shubha Bala

Shubha Bala identifies, implements, and evaluates technology that helps organizations and jurisdictions to use these tools effectively towards justice reform. Shubha has a wide range of technology experience in both established and start-up organizations. In addition to their work in non-profit technology, they have worked in program design and international development. They are an expert in a range of technologies used in the justice system, especially technologies that can reduce the use of jail. They hold a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer and Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto and a Masters in International Affairs from Columbia University.
