Xiuhui Lim is the Project Director for Supervised Release at Brooklyn Justice Initiatives, the Center’s largest operating program. In that role, she leads a team of more than 120 case managers, court-based resource coordinators, social workers, mental health professionals, and compliance specialists providing pretrial supervision and support to 6,500 individuals a year. Xiuhui was previously a management consultant at public interest consulting firm Bennett Midland, helping non-profit organizations develop ambitious new strategies and strengthen their operations. She also supported New York City agencies to implement major policy shifts, including bail reform and Raise the Age, and provided technical assistance to cities working to improve economic opportunity for justice-involved residents, strengthen fine and fee justice, and address racial disparities in health outcomes. Xiuhui was born and raised in Singapore, where she served in various government leadership roles focused on improving protections and support for marginalized populations.
