We provide affirming space for young people to explore their identities, build community, pursue self-care, and access healing spaces with an intersectional lens.
Identity-based programs provide affirming spaces to support the complexities of youth experiences and needs. Programs build community and create opportunities for healing and growth. The Brownsville Girls Collaborative is a rites-of-passage program engaging youth in a journey of sisterhood, healing, and entrepreneurial skill-building. Pride Pact is a peer-based LGBTQ+ program that engages youth with a passion for making change in identity affirming community. The Men’s Empowerment Program in Harlem and Project LEAD in Brownsville create a space for BIPOC youth who are male-identified to come together to build community and healing spaces.
