The MORE Program
The MORE Program, launched in early 2022 in partnership between Center for Court Innovation and Community Action Partnership for Madison County, was created to increase economic opportunities for those recently released from jail.
The Madison County Opportunities for Re-Entry & Employment (MORE) Program consists of 10-week group soft skills training sessions while individuals are incarcerated, followed by individualized case management services upon release. Upon release, the individual will work one-on-one with a MORE Employment Coordinator to find a job.
Additionally, participants are encouraged to join the Madison County Getting Ahead Coalition, a re-entry support group aimed at helping them gain professional development, networking, and access to community resources. Madison County Getting Ahead Coalition is a reentry support group for individuals recently released from the Madison County Correctional facility. This group is a partnership between the Center for Court Innovation and Community Action Plan’s Healthy Families program.
