This study investigated the relationship between post-traumatic stress disorder and intimate partner violence perpetration in a representative sample of self-identified heterosexual adult men in the U.S. Results showed that heterosexual men who reported lifetime PTSD demonstrated significantly higher risk of IPV perpetration, compared to men without PTSD. Research and practice implications are discussed. Published in the Journal of Family Violence, 2015 (doi: 10.1007/s10896-015-9710-1).
