Launched in 2018, the Center for Court Innovation’s advisory board provides guidance to our staff leadership as we seek to advance our goals of helping to create stronger neighborhoods and a more effective and humane justice system.

The 10-member board is chaired by Victoria Pratt, formerly the chief judge of Newark Municipal Court. According to Pratt, “It is an enormous honor to serve as chair of the Center’s advisory board. I have experienced first-hand the impact of this remarkable organization. The Center for Court Innovation played a crucial role in helping to conceive and implement a series of reforms designed to reduce the use of both incarceration and fines in Newark, New Jersey. Simply put, we could not have created Newark Community Solutions without the Center for Court Innovation. Together with the rest of my colleagues on the advisory board, I am committed to helping the Center advance its mission, both locally and around the world.”

Jonathan Lippman, formerly the chief judge of New York State and currently Of Counsel at Latham & Watkins LLP said: “I have had the pleasure of working with the Center for Court Innovation since the organization began. Under the leadership of first John Feinblatt and now Greg Berman, the agency has consistently grown in both size and impact. Today there is little doubt that it is one of the premier justice reform organizations in the world. I am so pleased to be able to continue my connection with the Center as a member of its advisory board.”
