This Thanksgiving, our teams and community partners are working together to make sure everyone has delicious meals to share with family and friends.
Our Queens Community Justice Center team in Jamaica teamed up with the Amazin’ Mets Foundation, the Muslim Bar Association of New York, and local juice shop We Juicing to give out 300 turkeys, free Mets tickets, and freshly made juice to community members.

In the Rockaways, we partnered with the Amazin’ Mets Foundation to give away 252 turkeys, making sure families are stocked up for delicious Thanksgiving meals.
Our team from the Brownsville Community Justice Center set up for two days in a row to deliver turkeys to 181 households—many of them the families of young people engaged in programming at the Community Justice Center.
Our Red Hook Community Justice Center in Brooklyn hosted a job resource fair and turkey giveaway sponsored by Council Member Alexa Avilés. Residents came by to get connected to career and training opportunities, eat delicious food, enjoy hot cocoa, and get professional photos taken with family and friends. At the end of the night, ten lucky raffle winners went home with Thanksgiving turkey.
